Amicalola Falls Lodge has a variety of meeting packages and is a great place for professional meetings accommodating small and medium sized groups with a variety of settings, accommodations and activities. Our professional Sales Team will go the extra mile to make sure that meetings at Amicalola Falls Lodge meet all of your needs from catering and registration to AV equipment and Wi-Fi.

Activities and Outdoor Shelters

  • To arrange for activities: Contact programming department for locations and availability
  • Hiking: 12 miles of trails, picnicking, seasonal trout fishing, interpretive programs, great photography opportunities of mountain views, tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi; picnic shelters, visitor center with nature displays, live exhibits, and gift shop onsite.
  • Group Shelters/Special Event Facilities: Perfect for family reunions, parties and church picnics, enclosed group shelters have tables and chairs for 50 to 250, kitchens, restrooms, heat and air conditioning, and adjacent parking. Many have large barbecue pits. Shelters must be vacated by 9:45 p.m. Cancellations must be made at least 30 days in advance and will be assessed a fee. All vehicles in the group must display a ParkPass.
  • Picnic Shelters - "We've Got You Covered": All state parks except Sprewell Bluff and Sapelo Island have covered picnic tables that may be reserved up to 11 months in advance. These open-air shelters include several tables assembled under a single roof and sometimes a barbecue pit or grills. Parking and restrooms are nearby. Shelters must be vacated by 9:45 p.m. All vehicles in the group must display a ParkPass.

Accommodations: Group Rates

  • Lodge: 56 rooms, suites and ADA rooms available.
  • Cottages: 14 one, two and three bedrooms, 2-two bedroom cottages are ADA approved, 2 pet friendly with additional pet fee. Rate range: $80-$160 (seasonal rates)
  • Camping: 24 sites for tents and RV. Rate range: $23 per night for up to 2 tents per site; $25 per night ( up to 40' RV)
  • Minimum number of rooms for groups: No minimum
  • Cottages: 2 night stay minimum
  • Camping: No minimums
  • Mobility or park access: The park facilities and lodging are ADA approved.

Additional Services Offered to Groups

  • Luggage handling: check in and check out; advanced noticed requested; Self service with luggage carts available
  • Meet and greet and orientation sessions offered with advance reservations. Contact the programming department (seasonal).
  • Nature and outdoor programs that are open to the public are often scheduled at the lodge and park; call ahead to see what is scheduled for time of your visit.
  • Team Building and ropes course; nature programs; hayrides and campfires; meeting and banquet facilities; 12 miles of hiking trails; approach trail to the 2,135 mile Appalachian

The official home of the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame, the Museum recognizes prominent members of Georgia's racing heritage; "Saturday Night Races" introductory theater recalls vintage drive-in; Hall of Fame offers racing sensory experience. Welcome to the Carriage Venue, Dawsonville’s premier wedding and event venue. Our 4,000 square foot venue, and trained staff can facilitate every occasion—weddings, corporate/club meetings, family events or any special gathering to make it uniquely yours.

The 4,000 Square foot Carriage Venue can facilitate every event—weddings, corporate/club meetings, family events or any special occasion gathering. We offer a number of customized options and a list of preferred vendors to make your occasion uniquely yours.

The Carriage Venue looks out over large, landscaped grounds that can be enjoyed through the large six windows—a perfect backdrop for photos. Walking the tree-lined grounds you will find several opportunities for photos, including a 840 square foot gazebo with amphitheater that seats 400, a heart shape flower bed and rose garden patio area with a fountain, and 1.5 acre lake with dock. Our amphitheater is a great place to have a ceremony, picnic, birthday party or a nice evening concert.
