Cochrans Falls

Cochrans Falls cascades approximately 600 feet vertically descending from Frosty Mountain. The largest falls is at the top and is the first image shown above. After the initial falls shown the falls continues to cascade steeply for about another 150 feet before changing to a series of smaller cascades to the bottom.

Directions:

From the Intersection of Highway 53 and Highway 400, drive 2 miles north and turn left on Hwy 136 West. Drive 12 miles and turn right on Bailey Waters Road. Stay straight and cross over Hwy 52 onto Wesley Chapel Road. Drive .8 miles and turn left on Dan Fowler Road. Drive 1.2 miles and turn left on Blackhawk Road. Ford the creek. The road parallels a field for the first 100 yards or so before reaching a fork. Take the left fork and ford Cochrans Creek twice in the next .6 miles. Continue on this road until you decide to park and walk.
