Ray Scott & Tommy Townsend Concert at Grandaddy Mimm's has been POSTPONED due to weather!
Ray’s the real deal—wrote and recorded songs like “My Kind of Music” and “Those Jeans,” with cuts by folks like Randy Travis, Trace Adkins, and Clay Walker, plus outlaw favorites Ward Davis and Creed Fisher. Kickin’ things off will be our own Tommy Townsend, Founder of Grandaddy Mimm’s.
New NASCAR Champion Exhibit now open.
The Georgia Racing Hall of Fame has unveiled a new exhibit honoring Dawsonville's own 2020 NASCAR Cup Series Champion, Chase Elliott!
The new exhibit opened to the public on February 2, 2021. Inside you'll find all of Chase's 2020 trophies, including his 2020 Championship Trophy. Also on display, are both Bill and Chase Elliott first cup win cars!
Make your plans to visit the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame Museum to learn the history of not only racing, but running 'Shine. Did you know next door to the Hall of Fame is the Dawsonville Moonshine Distillery? How cool is that!
